61 days Miner Miner These scooped scoundrels go underground. they sneak under the walls and emerge alongside their targets. When underground, miners do not take damage or activate traps, but do receive bonuses from spells.

    Summary

    Your Order

    • The Miner is the twelfth Elixir Troop unlocked at Barracks level 12.
    • It is single-target and buries underground when not facing enemy troops or buildings. This allows him to have the useful ability to remain unaffected by walls and evade all traps.
    • The miner does not have a favorite target, they simply attack the target closest to them.

    Strategy

    Offensive

    • The Miner is similar to the Hog Rider before he attacked defenses he can bypass Walls. However, the Miner's mechanic is better as he is invincible when underground.
    • Miners synergize well with Pig Riders, and the two types of troops can be combined into a combination known as the Pig Miner. Miners can take on defensive Heroes and Skeleton Traps, while Pig Riders They are more powerful against defenses because they prioritize defenses and have better DPS. If the Grand Sentinel and the Royal Fighter are unlocked, they can also be dispatched with a hybrid attack to support, as these two heroes are also capable of bypassing walls and thus can easily follow them.
      • However, the combination has a weakness to Clan Castle's air troops, as neither of them is capable of targeting them. It may be useful to activate and destroy the Clan Castle troops before attacking, if possible.
    • Miners can be used to set off traps and attract Clan Castle troops. They can also be used as a little distraction.
      • For example: you are using a GoWiPe (Golems, Mages and PEKKAs), but the Inferno Tower and Clan Castle troops will eliminate your Golems in seconds once they are within range. You can quickly place a Miner to appear and distract defenses.
    • The miner cannot be placed anywhere on the map, unlike his Clash Royale counterpart. It must be placed outside the red zone like any other unit.
    • Miners in large numbers are great for attacking bases with Hell Towers that are set to single target mode, as every time miners are buried, Hell Towers have to heat up again.
    • Take advantage of the miners' ability to dig underground. The more miners you have, the faster they will destroy the buildings or troops they were targeting, allowing them to get back underground quickly. This makes defenses take less time to attack them and can be aided by Fury Spell to increase their damage or Healing Spell to keep them at full health when Miners are attacking very high HP buildings like warehouses. It is advisable to have enough miners in a squad to fire at any building they come in contact with, except buildings with a lot of hit points, such as warehouses.
    • Miners are vulnerable when scattered, in small numbers, or when attacking high-powered buildings, because they have relatively low damage and power.
    • Miners are useful when they are in the center of the base. Take out the outer buildings with other troops like Rock Thrower and your Heroes to keep them in the center.

    Defensive

    • Miners are decently tank Clan Castle troops that deal decent damage. They deal decent damage, but don't burrow underground when defending. Instead, they move above the ground at a reduced rate. Combined with its relatively slow impact speed, this means that it can be useful to surround a defensive miner with massive troops.
    • Since miners do not activate traps while digging, you will need to place your traps so that they activate when miners appear.
    • You can keep your base compact and your warehouses close to your defenses to fight the Miners. By doing this you are giving Miners less time to heal while traveling underground, helping your defenses to do the maximum amount of damage while on the ground and keeping them on the ground for longer when attacking warehouses.
    • Skeleton traps placed on the ground and massive defensive troops from clan castles (such as massive archers) can delay miners for some time as they have a slow attack rate. Miners may bury themselves a short distance away to continue attacking these distractions, taking longer than necessary.
    • Giant Bombs can deal significant damage to Miners and can surprise the opponent. However, since Miners only activate traps when they are on the surface, they cannot be damaged when underground, place them right next to one defense in the direction of another defense to activate it.

    Upgrade differences

    • The Miner undergoes major visual changes at levels 3, 5, and 7.
      • Initially, the Miner is a man in a red shirt, a brown backpack, and a silver-gray helmet with a blown sail.
      • At level 3, the color of the miner's shovel changes from silver to gold.
      • At level 5, the miner's light source changes from a candle to a beacon.
      • At level 7, the miner's helmet turns gold, the lighthouse gets slightly larger, and the shovel stick is now metallic instead of wood. The shovel also appears to be cleaner.
      • At level 8, the color of the miner's shovel changes from gold to purple.
