The elixir is one of the resources of Clash of Clans. Unlike gold, it has more profits in addition to allowing the construction and improvement of buildings.
- Note
- The basic elixir, which is pink in color, should not be confused with the dark elixir, which is much rarer and necessary to build high-level units, and only accessible with the dark elixir drills (with town hall level 7).
- Obtaining
- All the elixir obtained is stored in the elixir stores, and there are six ways to obtain it:
- Collecting it from the elixir collectors.
- Destroying Elixir Stores, Collectors, Town Hall and Clan Castle, if you have spoils of war in multiplayer games.
- Attacking the villages of the goblins in the single player campaign.
- Using gems.
- As a war bonus after clan wars (it is stored in the Clan Castle and can be collected whenever the player wants).
- After an attack, each unit dropped in combat leaves a tombstone that gives a small amount of elixir to the defender.
- After an attack, the defender will receive a resource car that, with it, you will recover part of the lost resources (there can only be one resource car per village, yes, eliminate it immediately if you are going to improve something, for, when they attack you , to make the most of your resources.
- Getting 5 stars in a single day, in multiplayer battles (the stellar loot).
- Utility
- Buy and upgrade army buildings and some decorations.
- Buy and upgrade gold mines and Gold Warehouse.
- Train and upgrade troops.
- Elaborate and improve spells.

- Details
- The maximum elixir that can currently be had is 20.000.000 (the maximum capacity of a level 15 elixir store is 4.500.000 elixir, and with the level 9 town hall you can place 4 stores, plus the 2.000.000 units of elixir that keeps the town hall at level 11).
