Details
- The Tesla Tower is named after the magnificent and brilliant Serbian engineer and inventor Nikola Tesla.
- The Tesla Tower is similar to a jump trap or bomb: it remains hidden and is only shown when an air or ground unit is nearby. However, unlike cheats, it doesn't have to be paid to reactivate.
- The Tesla Tower can attack in an area of 7 squares, but to activate it a troop must be at least 5 squares from where it is hidden.
- Every time you are attacking and you manage to destroy 50% of the enemy village, the Teslas towers appear and are no longer hidden.
- The Tesla tower is not a trap. Their aesthetics misleads some into believing they are traps, but they are actually permanent structures just like any other defensive building.
Strategy
Defensive
- One advantage that can be taken advantage of is surprise. A well-placed Tesla tower can ruin the entire planned strategy of the opponent. Don't be obvious by leaving 2 × 2 spaces, as some opponents may find out that Teslas are hidden there. Instead, make sure they live up to their name and make it hard to tell they're there.
Offensive
- Quickly scan the village if it is of a considerably high level (you can look at its town hall) and look for obvious places where Teslas are hidden, and try to avoid them. Teslas also activate if the village takes 52% damage, so you need to be careful with this.
- Avoid deploying troops near hidden Tesla Towers if possible, unless your goal is to destroy them first. In such a case, send a small group of troops. It is a good idea to try to destroy the tower if we want to send air troops and the rest of the air defenses, such as the defense rockets and the air controller, are already destroyed.
- In general, the Teslas are located near important buildings, such as the town hall, or resource buildings, so you can take advantage of the fact that when you destroy one of these towers, you can deploy troops on its ruins, which, as already said, they are usually close to these buildings.
Annotations
- Lightning Spells, Ice Spells, and Earthquake Spells cannot damage an inactive Tesla Tower.
- When you are looking at your village, the Tesla will send out small sparks. The Tesla will continue to create sparks even if it is updating.
- Like the mortar, the Tesla can eliminate a level 4 archer in one shot, for example, a Level 4 Tesla can eliminate a level 5 archer in one shot. However, this does not happen for a level XNUMX archer. .
- The Level 7 Tesla has the same top piece as the Level 7 Laboratory.
- The Tesla Tower was the first and only Defensive Buildings with a preferred target, the PEKKA (until the arrival of the Artillery Eagle). These units took double damage.
- As of the Summer 2018 update they removed double the damage.
