    Appearance

    • The spring trap is a plank on a spring in a hole.
    • At level 3, the spring gets bigger.
    • At level 5, an iron booster is added to the board.

    Your Order

    • Cause instant death to the first group of enemies to walk on it, knocking up to 15 troop spaces into the air. For example, he can throw 15 archers or 3 giants.
    • It does not affect PEKKA due to its heavy armor. Likewise it is ineffective against golems and heroes.
    • The spring trap often does not affect goblins, this is because the goblin is too fast for the spring trap to blow it up (it is usually able to move out of range before the trap with spring have a chance to influence it). However, if the goblin does not continue moving once the spring-loaded trap has been triggered (stopping to attack a resource building, for example), it launches it similar to a barbarian or archer.
    • A good strategy for Jump Traps is to place them in an intentionally designed wall space. Since troops generally tend to go through the breach rather than blast their way through the walls, they will thus be led through the trap and fly! Remember, however, that spring traps are temporary structures and even repaired will be useless after an enemy attack.
    • The spring loaded trap can be improved starting with the May 2016 update.
