- Stock your infernal tower with dark elixir and use its flames to inflict unimaginable damage to a single target or to scorch several at once.

- Shoot bolts of fire, either one or several at a time, piercing through thicker armor.
- In single-target mode, its flame takes time to heat up, making it more effective against larger troops.
- In single-target mode, the infernal tower can be overwhelmed by large groups of weak troops, such as archers.
- Deals progressive damage against a single target or multiple targets, depending on how it's configured. The longer it focuses on a single target, the more damage it does, making it weak against a large number of troops, yet strong against a smaller number of troops with many hit points.
- In multi-target mode, the Inferno Tower deals damage to up to six targets simultaneously.
- Like the crossbow, it must be recharged; however, the infernal tower is recharged with dark elixir.
- The infernal tower does not have a preferred target, nor does it deal more damage to a particular type of troop. However, in single target mode it deals more damage the media to troops with more hit points, due to their progressive damage per second.
- The Inferno Tower in single target mode is weak against large numbers of Division 1 troops (and to a lesser extent Division 2 troops). Make sure that the tower is within range of a mortar or tower of the magician, so that they defend it.
- This defensive structure, when set to single target mode, is perfectly equipped to destroy the most powerful troops in the game, such as dragons, PEKKAs, and golems. It complements well with the Mage Tower, as while it is very effective against a large number of weak troops and not against high health units, the Hell Tower works in the opposite way. Therefore, placing these two structures together increases their chances of survival (and those of your base in general).
- Don't put your two infernal towers too close together - a single ice spell could freeze both at once!
- Remember that lesser troops are stronger against an infernal tower configured in single target mode, since each time it changes targets it must heat its beam again. These constructions can destroy golems in a few seconds, but if you surround them with archers and barbarians you can finish them quickly.
- Surrounding it with archers can be a good strategy, unless there is a mage tower nearby.
- Four level 4 or higher lightning spells will destroy a level 1 inferno tower. Five level 4 or higher lightning spells will destroy a level 2 inferno tower. Five level 5 or higher lightning spells will destroy a level 3 inferno tower .
- Check the tower to see if it is empty or full of dark elixir. If it is empty, there will be no dark elixir container next to the infernal tower, extinguishing the fire emitter at the top. Furthermore, the glowing lava pool, located at the bottom of the tower, will also have disappeared, giving it the appearance of an ordinary rock or metal structure.
- The Inferno Tower appeared in the game update on May 23, 2013.
- As of the April 2019 update, the recharge is done automatically when entering the game.
