Each clan has an authentic shield to display and represent their clan.

The design of a clan's crest is decided by the player who created it. Later, the shield can be changed by any player whose rank is co-leader or leader.

When making a shield to symbolize the clan, there are 80 foreground designs and 13 background colors to choose from. In theory, this means there are a total of 1.040 different clan shield designs. However, in practice, this number is lower, for the following reasons:

Shield generator in game

The rainbow pattern fills the entire space of the clan crest, which means that changing the background color makes no difference if the rainbow pattern is used. Consequently, this reduces the number to 1.028;
Also, some single-color patterns share this color with a particular background color. In effect, this means that if you choose both these patterns and the background colors, there is no difference to having no foreground patterns. This reduces the number of different clan shields to 1.020.
All background colors and patterns are available to choose from when the clan is created.
The edge of the clan badge depends on the level. The edge changes as the clan levels up. These borders are based on the trophy league shields.
While choosing your insignia design, you can see previews of the clan insignia as it looks on its own, as seen in the clan castle and donation statue. Once your clan's insignia design has been finalized, it is applied to all three of these characteristics.

In update 9.256.4 on October 11, 2017, the Clan Banner was added.
- The clan banner appears at the end of the village's designated clan path. Troops that are donated or received will exit or enter via the Clan Path, which supposedly connects the player's village with the main clan.

Once the player has received troops from other clan members, they enter the Clan Castle. These troops can be used to attack in the Main Village, but can only be used once.
The Statue itself, and thus the reinforcements, appear whenever the player drops the Clan Castle reinforcements directly onto the battlefield or uses a Siege Engine to drop the reinforcements further into the base.
If the player has no Clan but still has troops inside the Clan Castle, then the Clan Donation Statue appears as a post without a Clan shield each time it is used.
