    Details

    • The camp is the place where the troops are sent immediately after finishing being trained in the barracks or dark barracks, most of the troops occupy more than one space (only the Barbarian, Goblin or Archer occupies a space). Leveling up the camps allows you to have more Troops stored, to have a better chance of victory in battles.
    • If they are in the process of improvement, they will be able to continue saving Troops, but the maximum capacity will be the same until the process ends.
    • Before the 2012 Halloween update, troops would die if the camp was destroyed in an enemy attack. As of this update, Supercell made this not happen.
    • Upgrading and building more camps allows you to store more troops, and as you progress through the game, some troops will occupy more spaces in homes.
    • The troops in the camps do not defend the village, only those in the Clan Castle.
    • The maximum capacity of spaces in houses for your Troops is 300 (4 camps x 75 spaces)
    • It is not necessary to protect the camps with Walls, as there are no resources in them. The same defensive strategy can be used that is used with the builder huts, putting the camps in the corners to waste time on the opponent.
    • In the single player campaign "maginot line" you can see a level 7 camp at the top of the screen. Also, on another level you can see a level 1 camp.

    Changes for improvement

    • When initially built, the camp is a large open area with a cooking fire in the center.
    • At level 2, a spit appears on top of the fire, and the fire appears to be larger.
    • At level 3, a carrot appears on the spit.
    • At level 4, the carrot is replaced with a chicken / turkey.
    • At level 5, the chicken / turkey is replaced by a pig.
    • At level 6, the pig is replaced by a bull and more rocks are added around the fire. The bull has a ring on its nose, and it is a reddish dark brown color.
    • At level 7, the spit and food disappear. Instead, the kitchen fire is surrounded by large black rocks with sharp edges.
    • At level 8, the black rocks glow bright red and have a slight glow around the rocks. The rock on the far right shrinks in size. the rocks are suggested to have been burned. There also appear to be more jagged rocks surrounding the fire.
    • At level 9, the red rocks become much redder, spread further apart, and become smaller. Iron bars reappear in the kitchen fire, but they cover the fire. It seems that the fire is more intense.
