The waterfall
- The Waterfall is a decorative item that was present in early versions of the game, removed from the game in version 2.111, but was later added back in the March 2020 update.
- The reason for its initial removal was due to performance reasons, as cited by Supercell. As the buildings became more animated over time, it became necessary to remove the Waterfall to keep the game running smoothly. At the time, the Cascade was taking up a large amount of RAM to the point of severe lag and awkward gameplay on older devices. However, it was eventually added back in the March 2020 update (possibly because support for older devices had been phased out).
- When the waterfall returned, it received a different texture and animation than the old version. The trees were also modified when the waterfall returned.

Curiosities
- Before Landscapes were added to the game, the Classic texture underwent a couple of changes:
- Originally the trees looked different and the Waterfall was different.
- the waterfall was removed in version 2.111.
- In the March 2020 update, the Waterfall was added again with a different texture alongside the trees that also received a new texture.
- According to Darian, during a maintenance break on 24/11/2020 Supercell fixed an issue where custom scenarios were not appearing in replays.
